The Museum of Jurassic Marine Life is a charitable company which has been created with the following aims: · To set up and maintain a Jurassic Marine Life Centre in Dorset to house the globally important Steve Etches Kimmeridge Clay Fossil Collection · To display the Collection to students and the public · To make specimens available to scientific researchers In order to meet these aims, we need to raise funds for a building and for the fit-out of the Centre. The Jurassic Jaws Exhibition at Lulworth Cove is a small sample from this collection, based on the theme of Predation. We hope this exhibition will encourage prospective donors to help us not only bring this important collection to the public attention but also to meet the needs of the scientific community. |
